Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dermatology Specialty Doctor to join our team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality and safe outpatient and inpatient care to our patients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in general dermatology, with experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of skin conditions. You will be expected to work collaboratively with our team of consultants, specialty doctors, junior staff, and specialist nurses to deliver excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality and safe outpatient and inpatient care to patients with a wide range of skin conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver excellent patient care and achieve departmental goals.
  • Participate in teaching and training activities to support the development of junior staff and students.
  • Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • MB,BS or equivalent GMC registerable qualifications.
  • Allergy or Immunology related qualifications.
  • Computing skills: ability to use word processor, spreadsheet programme, and web browser.
  • Good written English.
  • Experience of teaching undergraduates and trainees.
  • Experience of routine clinical audit.
  • Knowledge of the organisation of the NHS and the Government's agenda for its modernisation.
  • Full Driving Licence and regular access to a car.
