We are a leading skin centre seeking a highly skilled Dermatology Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Our skin centre offers a range of services, including day case surgery, micrographic surgery, paediatric dermatology, lymphoma treatment, phototherapy, and drug monitoring. We have an active Day Treatment Unit and Nurse Treatment clinics, providing cryotherapy, intralesional steroid injections, and iontophoresis. Our team of Specialist Dermatology Outreach nurses supervises the care of dermatology in-patients and medical/surgical patients who develop skin complaints on the acute wards.
We pride ourselves on developing our team members through support with CESR and providing opportunities for professional growth and development. Our department is committed to delivering best clinical practice within the specialty of Dermatology.
Main Duties of the Job
We are seeking a full-time Dermatology Specialist to join our team of five consultants, specialty trust doctors, junior staff, and specialist nurses. The successful candidate will have experience in diagnosing and managing all aspects of general dermatology and will be able to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Qualifications/Training
Essential Criteria
- MB,BS or equivalent GMC registerable qualifications
- Allergy or Immunology related qualifications
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND PERSONAL
Essential Criteria
- Computing skills: ability to use word processor, spreadsheet programme, and web browser.
- Good written English
EXPERIENCE
Essential Criteria
- Experience of teaching undergraduates and trainees
- Experience of routine clinical audit
- Knowledge of the organisation of the NHS and the Government's agenda for its modernisation
OTHER REQUIREMENTS

- Full Driving Licence and regular access to a car
PPE requirements: Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust requires all colleagues to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with our infection prevention and control procedures.
