Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough testing and fault-finding of equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality.
  • Prepare and submit detailed test reports and documentation in accordance with customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with design engineering, test equipment design, and sales teams to meet customer needs and improve product quality.
  • Identify and address product quality and performance issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Support the company's environmental and quality management systems, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to test products accurately and efficiently, with a strong understanding of test procedures and protocols.
  • Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, digital power supplies, and multimeters.
  • Skilled in soldering and rework methods, with a strong understanding of IPC standards.
  • Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment, with proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Repair and diagnostic fault-finding experience to component level, with a strong understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of high voltage test methods is a distinct advantage.
