We are seeking a highly skilled PostgreSQL Database Engineer to join our Database Platform Team. Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement databases using PostgreSQL, ensuring high performance, scalability, and data security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate databases with other systems and applications.
  • Develop and maintain database schema, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
  • Optimize database performance, resolving issues and implementing improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in database management.
Requirements
  • Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including database design, development, and administration.
  • Proficiency in working with cloud-based databases, preferably in AWS.
  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes, and orchestration tools like Terraform.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and business intelligence.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Snowflake, MongoDB, or Redshift.
  • Knowledge of Python programming language.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and technologies.
