We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to lead our after school club at Harris Federation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a safe and engaging environment for our students.

Job Description

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the after school club, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for students.
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our students.
  • Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff members.
  • Assess and record student progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to support their development.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols, reporting any incidents or concerns to relevant authorities.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including managing finances, maintaining records, and communicating with parents and staff.
  • Clean and maintain the after school club area, including toilets and equipment.
  • Respond to first aid situations, documenting incidents and treatments provided.

Requirements:

  • NVQ3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Aptitude for first aid and emergency response.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff and students.
  • Experience working with students with learning difficulties and disabilities.
