Job Summary

The Senior Director, Cyber and Technology Risk role is a critical position within the Royal Bank of Canada's (RBC) 2nd line of defense function. As a global leader, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 4 FTEs to provide strategic guidance and oversight on Cyber and Technology Risks across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on Cyber and Technology Risk management to the business and senior leadership.
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the development of key risk indicators to measure and monitor Cyber and Technology Risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to senior leadership on Cyber and Technology Risk posture and trends.
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of Cyber and Technology Risk management principles and practices.
  • Proven experience in leading high-performing teams and developing strategic risk management plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
