About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Architect to join our team at AJ Bell Limited. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing enterprise security technology controls and platforms to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise on security best practices and ensure the maintenance of our security posture.
  • Security Technology: Design and implement enterprise security technology controls and platforms to protect our systems and data.
  • Project Support: Support and advise on projects and change initiatives to ensure that there is no negative impact on our security posture.
  • Audit and Compliance: Support audit and due diligence activities within our Technology Services department.
  • Security Standards: Work with our Information Security, Infrastructure, and Enterprise Architecture teams to define security standards.
  • Risk Management: Rapidly identify key risks within change projects and recommend appropriate management controls.
  • Technical Expertise: Previous experience of delivering and maintaining technical enterprise security solutions for End Point Protection, Cloud Security, Network Security, DevOps, Security Monitoring & Remediation is highly desirable.
  • Security Knowledge: Strong understanding and knowledge of Information Security risk management tools and techniques.
  • Security Frameworks: Demonstrable understanding of Information Security control standards and frameworks.
  • Challenge and Improve: Ability to challenge approach, strategy, and implementation to ensure Information Security is consistently considered and improved.
  • Team Player: Structured, self-starting, flexible, and enjoy working in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in an Information Security role, gained in a financial services or e-commerce environment is preferred.
