Camden, Greater London, United Kingdom EdEx Full time £105 - £110
SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Mainstream Primary School with a Special Resource Provision (SRP) in Camden.

The SRP is a unique provision that bridges the gap between a mainstream primary school and a special needs school. Our team provides support to children with a range of needs, including Autism, Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties, and other special educational needs.

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced teachers and special needs experts to provide individualized support to children in our SRP. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in SEN education, and contribute to the development of our SRP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children with a range of special educational needs, including Autism, Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties, and other SEN.
  • Work closely with teachers and special needs experts to develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, and provide feedback to teachers on children's progress.
  • Contribute to the development of our SRP, including participating in training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in a relevant field, such as Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in a school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive daily rate of £105-£110.
  • Full-time, full-academic-year contract.
  • Opportunities for professional development and training.
  • A supportive and collaborative team environment.

If you are a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a challenging and rewarding role, please apply by sending your CV to Maddie at EdEx.
