Schools Financial Advisor

Annual Salary: £60,000 - £75,000

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Schools Financial Advisor to join our finance team. As a key member of the team, you will provide expert financial guidance and support to maintained schools, ensuring they are able to manage their finances effectively.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Provide financial advice and guidance to school leaders, helping them to make informed decisions about budgeting and resource allocation.
  2. Work closely with school governors to develop and implement financial strategies that meet the needs of the school.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with other stakeholders, including parents, teachers, and support staff.
  4. Monitor and report on budget performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  5. Stay up-to-date with changing legislation and regulatory requirements, ensuring that schools are compliant with all financial regulations.
Requirements:

You will need to have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience working with schools. A qualification in accounting or a related field would be beneficial.
