Prostate Cancer and Robotics Practitioner

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the development of surgical care practitioners across the Trust. As a Urology Surgical Care Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing expert assistance in theatre and outpatient settings, with a focus on developing the skills of the wider theatre team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing leadership, supervision, and guidance to Surgical Care Practitioners (SCP) across the Trust
- Taking overall responsibility for care and management of patients
- Developing safe clinical decision-making skills and expert care for patients
Estimated Salary: GBP 30,000 - 50,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
ResponsibilitiesThe post holder will be involved in specific areas of the patient pathway, including outpatient consultations, history taking, physical examination, diagnosis, informed consent, admission, discharge, first assisting in theatre, telephone follow-up clinic, and patient and carers support service.
Additionally, the post holder will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, acting as a role model for surgical practitioner-led practice across different specialties in the Trust, and acting as a source of expertise, advice, and knowledge for patients, carers, and health and social care professionals.
