About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Site Agent to join our Infrastructure team.

As a Site Agent, you will be responsible for managing your section of works, ensuring that client and company performance expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in creating a safe working environment.
  • Manage day-to-day site activities, supervise and monitor the site team and supply chain.
  • Plan, control and monitor the progress of works and coordinate sections of the project.
  • Manage costs for assigned sections of work and capture changes in scope.
  • Understand temporary works requirements and undertake value engineering solutions.
  • Attend external meetings with clients and stakeholders, building effective relationships.
  • Report to the Project Manager on progress and performance.
  • Assist the Project Manager in administering cost forecasts, valuations and reporting systems.
  • Implement and attend weekly and monthly site meetings.
  • Ensure site teams and supply chains work with the latest design information.
  • Undertake material take-offs and reconcile materials.
  • Conduct regular H&S checks and CDM audits.
  • Ensure Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), Permit to Work systems, site inductions and safety briefings are correctly carried out.
  • Resolve unexpected technical difficulties and problems.
  • Ensure and maintain quality control procedures.
  • Ensure site teams keep site diaries up to date.
  • Effectively lead and manage direct reports, ensuring appropriate competence.
  • Monitor staff and contractor capability and report to senior management.

About You:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Site Agent with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

You should have a strong understanding of CDM and NEC and be able to interpret, extract and disseminate works information.

Previous experience in a Site Agent role and a relevant Civil Engineering background is essential.
