We are seeking a Medical Health Specialist to join our team in the UK, driving a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) throughout the country to deliver health surveillance services.

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, competitive and dependent on qualifications and experience.

About the Role

This is a full-time position requiring weekly overnight stays, where the successful candidate will undertake health surveillance screening, including audiometry, lung function testing, and general baseline measurements.

The key responsibilities of this role include ensuring all medical information is accurately recorded, maintaining equipment, performing cleaning and servicing duties, supporting additional tasks such as health promotion activities, and assisting the occupational health team in maintaining smooth operations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct health surveillance screenings and record accurate medical information
  • Maintain MMU equipment and perform regular cleaning and servicing tasks
  • Support health promotion activities and other additional tasks as required
  • Assist the occupational health team in achieving efficient operations

The ideal candidate will possess a sound educational background with good numeracy and written English skills, be able to work autonomously with support from line management and others within the team, demonstrate a proactive approach to work, solid IT skills, self-motivation, flexibility, and ability to manage time effectively.

Desirable Backgrounds
  • Graduate from Sports Science or related field
  • Health Care Assistant or equivalent experience
  • EMT certification or military medic training
