About the Role
We are seeking a talented Womenswear Nightwear and Loungewear Designer to join our client, a leading high street fashion supplier. As a key member of the design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing womenswear loungewear and nightwear collections from concept to final product.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop womenswear loungewear and nightwear collections, ensuring they meet the company's customer expectations and stay on-trend.
- Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify key shapes, colors, and fabrics for the next season's collection.
- Work closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication.
- Develop and source new fabrics, create detailed specification sheets, and request patterns as needed.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in designing womenswear nightwear and loungewear, preferably with a high street supplier or retailer.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and other design software.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for nightwear and loungewear fashion and design.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
