Womenswear Designer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Womenswear Designer to join our team at Dobson Welch Recruitment Specialists. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating on-trend Womenswear and Girlswear designs, working closely with factories to action samples and manage the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design Womenswear and Girlswear collections, incorporating the latest fashion trends and research
  • Provide specifications for factories, ensuring timely and accurate production
  • Collaborate with factories to action samples and manage the manufacturing process
  • Present designs to buyers and attend presentations at key accounts
  • Work closely with the design team to ensure seamless execution of seasonal calendars

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Womenswear and Girlswear design, with a strong understanding of fashion trends and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with factories and internal stakeholders
  • Strong technical skills, with proficiency in CAD design software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
