Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Calibration Specialist to join our team in a permanent position based in the London region. This role will involve working from home and traveling to various sites to calibrate and repair electronic equipment.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled calibration engineer to work with our clients across the UK, ensuring their equipment meets the required standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in calibrating audiometric and acoustic instruments and be able to work independently, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Main Responsibilities
  • Calibrate and repair electronic equipment on-site, using custom-designed calibration systems and test equipment.
  • Work from home, organizing jobs and traveling to various locations in the Home Counties and NE London region.
  • Deal professionally and courteously with customers, suppliers, and colleagues, providing advice and support as needed.
  • Interpret and follow technical procedures, manuals, and processes to ensure accurate calibration and testing.
  • Liaise with customers and provide technical support, updating calibration records as necessary.
Requirements
  • HNC or higher qualification in electrical or electronic engineering.
  • Experience in calibrating audiometric and acoustic instruments, with knowledge of UKAS or traceable standards.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to work under pressure.
  • Full UK driving license, preferably with no endorsements.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated at £31,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a company car and other benefits. This is a permanent position, offering opportunities for career development and growth.
