Job Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at Boots Opticians. As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent patient care and providing expert advice and reassurance to our customers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver the pharmacy strategy through providing expert care and advice to our customers.
  • Accountable for legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
  • Build the pharmacy capability of store teams by providing training and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Conduct regular reviews through audit, observations, and risk assessment to ensure customer and patient safety is paramount.
  • Deliver a range of professional pharmacy services to our customers, including health checks and advice on medication.

  • Registration with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI).

  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and the provision of national and local services.
