We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Data Compliance Officer to join The Pioneer Group, a small Housing Association dedicated to putting our Community at the heart of everything we do. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant data privacy laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of GDPR, excellent attention to detail, and a methodical approach to work. You will also have strong communication skills and the ability to communicate complex information clearly to ensure understanding and compliance within the organisation.

As our Data Protection Specialist, some of your key areas of responsibility will include:

  1. Ensuring The Pioneer Group complies with all relevant data privacy laws and requirements.
  2. Creating and overseeing the company's data protection frameworks and controls.
  3. Working with colleagues to develop a culture that values data governance and compliance.
  4. Acting as the key point of contact for internal colleagues, external regulators and stakeholders.

About the role

We're looking for a highly experienced Data Protection professional who is accredited in data protection and risk management. You will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a methodical approach to work. You will also have strong communication skills and the ability to communicate complex information clearly to ensure understanding and compliance within the organisation.

The salary range for this position is approximately £35,000-£50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
