We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioural Support Assistant to join our team. As a Behavioural Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals manage and improve their behaviour, ensuring they can achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and monitor individualized behaviour support plans under the guidance of senior practitioners.
  • Provide direct support to individuals in various settings, including home, school, or community environments.
  • Assist in the development of behavioural intervention strategies and goals.
  • Observe and record behavioural patterns, progress, and any significant changes.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to behaviour support.
  • Offer emotional support and encouragement to clients, promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant qualification in psychology, social work, special education, or a related field (Certificate in Behavioural Support, or equivalent).
  • 6 months' experience working in a UK Primary School.
  • Experience working with individuals with behavioural challenges, autism spectrum disorders, or similar conditions is highly desirable.
  • Enhanced DBS on Update Service (desirable).
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting others.
