Job Role

As a Children's Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting children in care, helping them to achieve their full potential. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting children in all aspects of their lives, including educational pursuits and activities
  • Developing and contributing to positive outcomes that shape the future of children and young people
  • Working closely with children to understand their needs and provide individualized support

Responsibilities

As a Children's Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting and safeguarding the wellbeing of children and young people
  • Assisting with daily routines and working in community and educational settings
  • Organizing and facilitating social activities and transportation
  • Working with a multi-disciplinary team to implement safe practice and contribute to care plans and risk assessments
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience working with children and/or young adults
  • Knowledge in one of the following areas: EBD, SEMH, CSE, or SEN/SEND
  • An enhanced DBS and a Full UK Driving License (desirable)
