Vistry Group, a leading provider of affordable mixed-tenure homes, is seeking an experienced Construction Director to oversee residential development projects in the UK. With a strong track record in site management and leadership, this individual will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

About the Role:

  • Responsible for the overall direction and coordination of construction projects, including planning, execution, and control.
  • Lead a team of experienced site managers, engineers, and other professionals to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of construction projects.
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to meet client specifications and expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with Vistry Group's safety policies, health and safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including designers, procurement teams, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in senior construction roles, preferably in residential development.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale construction projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • CIOB Grade A or equivalent, with a valid SMSTS Certificate.
