Estimator - Construction Specialist

Fawkes & Reece South, a reputable regional contractor with over 100 years of experience, is seeking an experienced Estimator to manage the tender process from initial conception.

The successful candidate will work closely with Surveyors/Project Managers to deliver projects across various sectors, including commercial, education, leisure, and healthcare, with a value of up to £30 million.

About this role:
  • Be part of a business that prides itself on its people and promotes from within
  • Work on a range of projects, from initial conception to delivery
Responsibilities:
  • Independently manage the tender process, including budgeting and scheduling
  • Collaborate with Surveyors/Project Managers to ensure project deliverables are met
  • Assist in mentoring junior members of the staff
Requirements:
  • Experience in negotiated and two-stage tenders
  • Proven track record of independently tendering projects with a value of up to £15 million
  • Background in a main contractor or similar industry
  • Ability to work in commutable distance to Southampton
