Construction Equipment Team Lead

The RPC Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Equipment Supervisor to join their team. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of construction equipment across various sites in the UK.
About the Role:
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and attention to detail. You will be working closely with the Contracts Manager to ensure that all site operations are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough assessments of job sites to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks
* Ensure that all personnel on site have the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are trained in its use
* Develop and implement plans to maximize work time and minimize downtime
* Maintain accurate records of site operations, including daily diaries, measures, and time sheets
* Take ownership of red files and ensure that site requirements are fully understood and signed off
Requirements:
* Proven experience in leading teams in the construction equipment sector
* Physically fit and able to handle manual labor
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
* Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)
* Must hold a full clean UK car driving licence (DVLA Check will need to be completed)
Benefits:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £37,500 per annum, paid weekly, plus realistic bonuses and overtime opportunities.
