We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Norse Group. As a Grounds Maintenance Professional, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the standard of grassed areas, highway verges, municipal parks, and open spaces across Daventry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize and maintain hand tools and light plant equipment
  • Store, mix, and apply fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and growth retardants
  • Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, and hedges
  • Cultivate sites for planting and sowing

Requirements

  • Experience working in a ground maintenance or similar environment
  • Full UK Driving Licence, as there will be a driving requirement for the role
  • Good communication skills, comfortable dealing with members of the public
  • Ability to work effectively both as an individual and as part of a team
  • Willingness to undergo training and development with process and machinery
