Neurofibromatosis Advisor

Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust is a world-class healthcare provider, committed to delivering exceptional care to women, children, and families. Our trust was formed in 2017, bringing together Birmingham Women's Hospital and Birmingham Children's Hospital to provide seamless care and greater investment in specialist treatment.

We are seeking a part-time Neurofibromatosis Specialist Adviser to join our team. The role involves providing support, information, and advice to individuals and families affected by neurofibromatosis. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

• Provide expert advice and support to individuals and families affected by neurofibromatosis
• Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers and community groups
• Contribute to the development of education and awareness programs for neurofibromatosis

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A strong understanding of neurofibromatosis and its impact on individuals and families
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
