Building Services Manager for High-End Residential Projects

At HDS Consultancy, we are seeking an experienced Building Services Manager to lead our M&E Contracts team in delivering high-end residential projects. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and responsible company that prioritizes professional excellence.
About the RoleWe offer a competitive salary of up to £90,000 plus package, depending on experience, to manage installation teams on site, implement effective production processes, and maintain high standards of installation.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in building services within the residential sector, holding a relevant qualification such as an HNC/HND. They must be able to lead and work collaboratively with teams, possess excellent communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the delivery of our business vision, goals, and strategy. You will work closely with the Commercial team to ensure timely financial entitlements, variations, and day work valuations are claimed, providing technical back-up as required.
Duties and Responsibilities- Manage installation teams on site to achieve project deadlines and quality standards.
- Implement effective production processes, including validation of materials and labour, to track and monitor project progress.
- Work with the Commercial team to claim financial entitlements, variations, and day work valuations in a timely manner.
- Maintain high standards of installation and quality control throughout the project.
- Conduct regular site audits to identify areas for improvement and share feedback with the Operations team.
- Develop apprentices to become high-quality tradesmen and retain them within the business.
- Oversee site stock management and arrange returns of unused items.
- Monitor Gas and Water compliance across all projects.
- Review subcontractor pay runs and direct labour pay runs for approval.
