Project Manager

About The Role

M Group Services is seeking a Project Manager to join our team in West Wales. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of all works associated with the Novello Project for Welsh Water Repair & Maintenance contract.

You will manage a geographical focused team of internal & external staff, FLM's, direct labour and several approved appointed sub-contractors ensuring effective overall performance of cost, safety, quality, and continuous improvement measures.

The role will be Site and Office based, and you will be responsible for delivery of all activities to cost, time, quality, and safety targets including customer performance.

Key Requirements:

• IOSH safety certificate
• Repair and Maintenance experience
• A clean driving licence
• Supervisors' street work card
• Resource Utilisation & Control
• A working knowledge of disciplinary and capability procedures
• A working knowledge of accident investigation procedure
• A good understanding of operational activities and trade skill
• Financial awareness and ability to work to budgets.
• Good understanding, supported by experience, of how a water network operates.
• Proven ability to deliver improvements to productivity, safety, and customer focus in a utility environment.
• Experience in supporting the delivery of change initiatives, ideally in a unionised workforce.
