Project Manager for Water Infrastructure Services

About This Role
Morrison Water Services, a leading provider of clean and waste-water infrastructure in the UK, is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of all works associated with the Novello Project for Welsh Water Repair & Maintenance contract in West Wales.
Your primary objective will be to manage a geographical focused team of internal & external staff, FLMs, direct labour, and several approved appointed sub-contractors, ensuring effective overall performance of cost, safety, quality, and continuous improvement measures. You will work closely with clients to ensure that the contract performs to actual cost & revenue v forecast cost, using all commercial reports developed.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in the water sector. You will possess a proven track record of delivering improvements to productivity, safety, and customer focus in a utility environment. Additionally, you will have experience in supporting the delivery of change initiatives, ideally in a unionised workforce.
Key Requirements
- IOSH safety certificate
- Repair and Maintenance experience
- A clean driving licence
- Supervisors' street work card
- Resource Utilisation & Control
- A working knowledge of disciplinary and capability procedures
- A working knowledge of accident investigation procedure
- A good understanding of operational activities and trade skill
- Financial awareness and ability to work to budgets.
