About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Event Operations Specialist to join our team at The Buyers' Networking Club.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading events organization, delivering high-quality events that bring brand values to life.

Job Summary

The Event Operations Specialist will be responsible for supporting the production of events, working closely with the Head of Event Production and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.

This role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with peers and project managers to deliver high-quality events for all areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the Head of Event Production to deliver best-in-class customer and stakeholder experience for News UK.
  • Manage event production, including creating and developing stakeholder event propositions, liaising with suppliers and venues, and monitoring financial forecasting, billing, and processes.
  • Liaise with internal teams to gain support in what we deliver, making events work harder.
  • Ensure effective communication/project management from brief to post-campaign analysis.
  • Support the Head of Event Production by feeding into reports for the Director of Operations.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An understanding of how events can bring brand values to life.
  • A proven track record in organizing small, medium, and large-scale events, virtual, experiential, and brand communications activity.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of event streaming.
  • Ability to deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to deliver projects on-brand and brief within challenging timescales.
  • Flexibility to travel, and for weekend and evening work (lieu time given for out-of-hours work).
