Senior Survey Technician

The role of a Survey & Safety Technician is a critical component in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining our hire equipment.
You will work with a range of equipment including robotic total stations, GPS kits, construction lasers, and other survey & safety products. Your primary focus will be on performing comprehensive safety checks and calibration of all hire equipment before dispatch, as well as ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed.
To excel in this position, you should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair survey equipment. Additionally, you must be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:- Inspect and test hire equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure
- Diagnose and repair survey equipment using technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and accurate
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team objectives
- Experience working as a survey technician within a busy depot or similar environment
- Ability to diagnose and repair survey equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of IT literacy, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel
- A full UK driving licence
