About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Reliability Expert to join our team. As a key member of our reliability improvement team, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing initiatives to improve performance, reliability, and efficiency of Point Operating Equipment (POE) supplied by our technology development team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement action plans to resolve issues in coordination with maintenance engineering teams.
  • Support maintenance teams in implementing POE improvement programmes, projects, and initiatives.
  • Implement six sigma processes and techniques to routes and delivery units.
  • Prepare business cases for improvement initiatives supported by robust analysis.
  • Develop and implement plans for improvement initiatives, including training, briefing, and support documentation.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and share areas of best practice across the UK to improve business performance.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements:

  • Experience in maintenance management, processes, and techniques.
  • Knowledge of reliability engineering techniques and tools.
  • Experience with Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) systems.
  • Excellent analytic skills and process-driven approach to problem solving.
  • Experience extracting information and reporting from multiple sources, including databases.
  • Good interpersonal, influencing, communication, and organisation skills.
