Procurement Manager Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at ReAgent Chemical Services Limited. As a Procurement Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth purchasing of materials, optimising costs, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or service.
  • Draft, review, and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Source and evaluate new suppliers and materials to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role within the chemical industry, with technical knowledge of chemistry and the application of chemicals.
  • Experience in contract management, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating supplier contracts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements related to chemical procurement.
