We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to oversee the daily operations of our reception areas. The successful candidate will lead a team and create a uniform approach to visitor management processes, streamlining current systems and processes. This role will also focus on creating a new structure for coordinating, planning, and recording training for staff across central functions.

This is a newly created role in a growing central facilities team, offering the opportunity for someone to make a real difference in shaping the role and contributing to the team's development.

This role is based in East Leake, full-time, 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of receptionists to ensure day-to-day reception and administrative duties are fulfilled to a high standard.
  • Team Leadership: Coach, develop, and motivate a team of receptionists to maintain high-performance levels.
  • Compliance Training: Ensure all reception staff are fully trained and compliant with company policies and procedures, including health and safety, data protection, and customer service protocols.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates to the Facilities Manager on reception area performance, staffing levels, and any issues or improvements needed.
  • Facilities Liaison: Act as the main point of contact between reception teams and the Facilities Manager, ensuring smooth communication and addressing any facilities-related issues.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to across all reception areas.
Requirements:
  • Strong leadership skills, ideally with evidence of leading a similarly sized team.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, confidence, and an ability to engage and communicate with people on all levels.
  • Excellent time management, administration, and organisational skills to ensure the efficient functioning of the reception teams.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and supporting compliance and training initiatives.
  • Ability to demonstrate responsiveness and commitment to achieving deadlines.
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office Packages, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
