Locum People are seeking a skilled Microbiology Consultant to join their team in Buckinghamshire on a long-term basis.
The Microbiology department within an established hospital in Buckinghamshire requires a Locum Microbiology Consultant for an initial period of 3-6 months, with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Manage a caseload of 10 patients per week
- Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled
- Conduct daily rounds on the ITU ward
- Respond to consults from medical teams regarding patients with positive blood cultures
- Perform blood culture bench rounds
- Address IPC issues as they arise
A comprehensive job plan is available upon request.
Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK
- Fully registered with the GMC
- Two professional referees available for contact
