Locum People are seeking a highly skilled Microbiologist to work in Buckinghamshire on a long-term basis.

The Microbiology department within an established hospital in Buckinghamshire requires a Locum Microbiologist to cover a period of 3-6 months initially, with a view to extend.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 40+ hours per week
  • 10PA per week
  • On calls to be determined
  • Daily ITU ward rounds
  • Dealing with consults from medical teams regarding patients on SMH site and dealing with positive blood cultures
  • Blood culture bench round
  • Addressing IPC issues during the week

  • Fully GMC Registered
