Job Title: Content Editor

We are seeking an experienced Content Editor to join our team at Reach plc. As a Content Editor, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality content to our audience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and brief your team of reporters to deliver engaging content
  • Organise and manage the publishing of fresh, accurate, and legally sound news content
  • Develop and implement a social media strategy to increase audience engagement
  • Conduct regular 1:1s with team members to ensure their development as journalists
  • Oversee the development of our Customer Value Strategy, focusing on newsletter and audience loyalty
Requirements:
  • Senior NCTJ/NQJ Level 6 journalism qualification or equivalent
  • Extensive media law knowledge
  • Proven track record of writing and editing digital news content in a fast-paced newsroom environment
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills
  • Good understanding of SEO, search, social, and digital audience behavior
  • Social media savvy and experience utilising various social platforms
