Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist

Westlakes Recruit is currently recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain Specialist on a contract basis, to be located in Reading.

The Role:

This role sits within the Process and Performance Excellence Team. It is focused on the Governance which supports the Procurements, rather than the Procurement itself.

Main Duties:
  • Governance for procurements that are going through individual procurement regulations.
  • Stakeholder/Account management
  • Making sure stakeholders are aware of changes regarding governance.
Essential Skills:
  • Governance experience
  • Stakeholder engagement (Internal and external)
  • Understanding Governance in the commercial sector/procurements
Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and manage governance and compliance services for strategic procurements.
  • Experience of governance processes within a procurement or commercial environment
  • Experience working on complex and high value procurement projects.
  • Delivering business change / continuous improvement programmes.
  • Information security and/or governance knowledge.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • PCR 2015
  • CIPS Level 4
