Academics Job Opportunity: Teaching Assistant - SEN School Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative individual to join our team at Academics, supporting students with complex learning difficulties in a dynamic SEN school setting.

This role involves working closely with teachers and other professionals to provide targeted support, either in a group or one-to-one setting.

A key aspect of this position is flexibility and adaptability, as you will be required to adjust your approach to meet the diverse needs of our students.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of teaching resources and materials, helping to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, patience, and empathy, with a passion for making a positive impact on young lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with complex learning difficulties
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement effective support strategies
  • Contribute to the creation of inclusive and engaging teaching resources
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Degree in Education or related field (desirable)
  • Experience working with students with complex learning difficulties (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient and empathetic nature
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances

Estimated Salary: £30,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the cost of living in the region.
