- Coordinate Health and Safety Training: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure all employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs safely.
- Conduct Health and Safety Audits: Conduct regular health and safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with legislation and company policies.
- Prepare Health and Safety Reports: Prepare monthly health and safety reports for senior management, highlighting areas of concern and suggesting improvements.
- Maintain ISO 18001 Certification: Ensure the company maintains ISO 18001 certification, demonstrating our commitment to health and safety.
- Develop Sustainability Initiatives: Develop and implement sustainability initiatives, including energy-saving programs and waste reduction strategies.
- Oversee Environmental Performance: Audit and report on environmental performance, ensuring the company meets its environmental obligations.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager who possesses the following qualities and skills:
- Good Standard of Education: A good standard of education, preferably in a relevant field such as health and safety or environmental management.
- NEBOSH Diploma: A NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) in health and safety, demonstrating a high level of knowledge and expertise in the field.
- Minimum 5 Years of Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in health and safety, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Team Player: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Self-Starter: A self-starter with initiative, able to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
