Job Title: Retail Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and friendly Retail Assistant to join our team at Farmfoods. As a Retail Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment, and supporting the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customers feel welcome and valued.
  • Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and resolving issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store, including restocking shelves, sweeping, and mopping floors.
  • Support the sales team with sales promotions, displays, and visual merchandising.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
