We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Work Apprenticeship and Development Coordinator to join our team at Wiltshire Council. As a key member of our Adult Social Care team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of social work in our community.
Main Duties and Responsibilities- Coordinate the recruitment and onboarding process for Social Work Apprentices, ensuring a smooth and effective transition into the program.
- Work closely with the Social Work Apprenticeship and Development Lead to develop and implement quality learning and provision across the Social Work Apprenticeship program.
- Identify and address any issues or shortfalls in the program, recommending innovative solutions to improve the overall experience for apprentices.
- Support and assess the ongoing development of Social Work Apprentices throughout their qualifying program.
- Collaborate with higher education institutions to maintain high educational standards and represent Wiltshire Council in relevant meetings.

Requirements- Qualified social worker registered with Social Work England.
- Relevant professional experience post-qualification.
- Practice Educator (PEPs) trained, and/or experience as an ASYE (Assessed and Supported Year in Employment) Assessor.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiating skills.
- Good strategic and practical awareness of social work-related policy.
