About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our data centre operations team as a Server Build Technician Lead. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building, implementing, integrating, and managing IT infrastructure solutions. You will work closely with IBM teams, including clients, vendors, subcontractors, and other partners, providing high-quality technical solutions to clients based on their business needs.

The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience working in a 24/7 datacentre environment, preferably with IBM Cloud. You should have experience in Operating System Installation (Windows Server, Linux, Unix, VMWare, etc.), racking, cabling, and deploying servers and networking equipment. Additionally, you should have good knowledge of PC hardware concepts and component installation, as well as solid understanding of RAID technologies.

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive shift allowances and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
