About the Role

As a driver, you will have the opportunity to operate a range of general and specialist vehicles, from passenger cars to heavy goods vehicles. Your role will involve transporting RAF personnel and equipment safely and efficiently, both on and off airbases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and operate a variety of vehicles, including passenger cars, vans, and heavy goods vehicles
  • Transport personnel and equipment between units, both on and off airbases
  • Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure they are in good working order
  • Work with other teams to ensure the safe transportation of personnel and equipment

Requirements

  • Be aged 17 – 47 years old
  • Be a citizen of the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland
  • Have a valid UK driving licence with no penalty points or driving bans
  • Meet the fitness and health criteria

Training and Development
