Job Title: Health and Safety Wellbeing Manager

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Wellbeing Manager to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational leadership of health, safety, and wellbeing in a designated business/portfolio of work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assure the assessment, management, and mitigation of risk in accordance with regulation and business standards.
  • Monitor and report on performance, providing advice, guidance, and expertise as needed.
  • Translate business strategy and objectives into local business plans.
  • Collaborate with operational directors to deliver cost-effective and efficient performance.
  • Develop and deliver agreed local business plans to time, quality, and budget.
  • Support succession planning and career development activities for teams.
  • Manage a large team of direct reports, driving the appropriate behaviors to achieve success and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide performance management, technical, and career development, and coaching.
  • Implement and develop management systems and the certification process.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience leading and managing health, safety, and wellbeing in a large complex organization.
  • Knowledge of risk management and mitigation work in a major organization.
  • Knowledge of enterprise and project risk management.
  • Change management experience.
  • Relevant experience of management in a large organization.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
