Teacher of Biology & Psychology (Maternity Cover)

Job Summary: Millfield School is seeking a highly motivated and inspiring full-time temporary Teacher of Biology & Psychology to join our team from January 2024 to the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Biology to students from Year 9 to A-level and Psychology to A-Level across the full ability range.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote student learning and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and best practices in teaching and learning.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support student growth.

Requirements:

  • Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills in Biology and Psychology.
  • Ability to teach other sciences (Chemistry or Physics) to at least GCSE level is beneficial but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
