We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at Beaumont Manor Care Home. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents.



Main Responsibilities


  • ​Cleaning and Maintenance: Provide thorough domestic cleaning services, adhering to company policies and best practices, to ensure a pleasant living space for our residents.
  • Hygiene Standards: Perform all cleaning tasks in line with hygiene standards, guaranteeing a safe and sanitary environment for residents and staff alike.
  • ​Floor Care: Clean and protect a variety of floor surfaces, including carpets and hard floors, to maintain a spotless and healthy environment.
  • ​Furniture and Fixtures: Clean and maintain furniture, furnishings, fixtures, and fittings to a high standard, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for residents.
  • ​Sanitary Maintenance: Clean and replenish sanitary fixtures and fittings, ensuring they are hygienic and well-stocked for residents.
  • ​Waste Management: Remove refuse regularly and dispose of it properly, maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
  • ​Vertical Surfaces: Clean vertical surfaces without the use of access equipment, ensuring a thorough and efficient cleaning process.
  • ​Resident Support: Assist with the daily well-being of residents, helping them settle into their new environment and ensuring their comfort and happiness.
  • ​Laundry Services: Manage laundry effectively, ensuring it meets guidance and expectations, and safely handle and label personal belongings.
  • ​Health and Safety Compliance: Follow health and safety protocols, infection prevention, and fire safety regulations within the laundry and wider care environment.
  • ​Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to ensure that laundry services and overall cleanliness are maintained effectively.
