At PlayStation Global, we're looking for a seasoned software engineer to lead the development of our mobile SDKs. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing and building SDKs for mobile games built with Unity and Unreal Engine.

We're seeking an expert in crafting easy-to-use SDKs in multiple languages, with a strong understanding of runtime performance optimization. Your experience in building games with Unity or Unreal Engine, as well as your expertise in authentication and authorization flows, will be invaluable in this role.

As a technical leader, you'll provide guidance to our mobile SDK development team and establish pipelines and processes to deliver high-quality, easy-to-use SDKs. Your ability to clearly communicate end-to-end system behavior to SDK users and stakeholders will be essential in this position.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and create SDKs for mobile games built with Unity and Unreal Engine
  2. Simplify the developer experience for mobile SDK end users
  3. Develop SDK reference implementations to ease developer onboarding
  4. Measure and improve SDK security and runtime performance
  5. Provide technical leadership and guidance to mobile SDK development team
  6. Establish pipelines and processes to facilitate the delivery of high-quality, easy-to-use SDKs
  7. Influence and contribute to the SDK engineering roadmap
  8. Clearly communicate end-to-end system behavior to SDK users and stakeholders
  9. Actively track technical innovations, changes, and trends affecting mobile game development and mobile application security

Desired Skills and Experience:

  1. 8+ years of professional experience developing mobile games, apps or related services
  2. Experience as a technical leader in a team setting
  3. Expertise in crafting easy-to-use SDKs in multiple languages
  4. Expertise in runtime performance optimization
  5. Experience building games with Unity or Unreal Engine
  6. Strong understanding of authentication and authorization flows
  7. Strong understanding of network communication models for games
  8. Strong understanding of mobile app security threats and mitigation approaches
  9. Strong C++ and C# experience
  10. B.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent
