Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Randstad Engineering. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing both mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks, including fault finding, inspections, preventive and reactive work, alignment, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance tasks on mechanical and electrical systems, including fault finding and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless maintenance operations.
  • Manage and maintain equipment, including forklifts and cherry pickers.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within a heavy production or manufacturing environment.
  • Completed onsite apprenticeship or hold a NVQ, HNC, ONC or HND in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and process systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of maintenance methodologies, including preventive, proactive, condition monitoring, and reliability tools.
