Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to deliver engaging employability training sessions, develop training materials, and support learners in enhancing their career prospects.

About the Position

  • Design and deliver effective employability training programs for diverse groups of learners, utilising industry trends and best practices.
  • Create and update training resources to ensure they remain current and relevant, including CVs, job search strategies, and interview preparation.
  • Conduct assessments and provide constructive feedback to learners, aiding them in identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other trainers and staff to ensure a cohesive training experience, fostering a culture of mutual respect and open communication.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in employability training, applying this knowledge to inform training program development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training programs that cater to the needs of diverse learner groups.
  • Manage and maintain training resources, ensuring they remain up-to-date and relevant.
  • Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback, highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with other trainers and staff, promoting a cohesive training experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a trainer in the employability sector or a related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employability skills, job market trends, and recruitment processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate learners of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software.
  • A teaching or training qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • An enhanced DBS is essential for this role.

Compensation

£35,000 per annum.
