Job Description

Safran Landing Systems is a world leader in aircraft landing and braking systems, contributing to safer and more sustainable aviation. We design, test, manufacture, and assemble landing gear for commercial aircraft and military aircraft. As a key member of our team, you will support the implementation of engineering and IT projects in the UK and Asia region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support IS technical projects with a focus on engineering
  • Work as part of the project team to deliver assigned projects
  • Prepare required technical documentation
  • Support the preparation of presentations and provide IS project status updates
  • Build server infrastructure, including creating servers, configuring and maintaining Windows servers, and ensuring compliance with security regulations
  • Install SQL Server and create and maintain databases
  • Provide L2 and L3 support for IS infrastructure, systems, and platforms
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex problems, recommending improvements to avoid re-occurrence
  • Contribute to the maintenance and administration of data center hardware

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • ITIL Foundations Certification or similar
  • Microsoft Office product suite skills
  • Aerospace business knowledge
  • Basic understanding of VMWare, NetApp, and Citrix
  • Basic understanding of various IT/IS disciplines, technologies, and platforms
