Fitch Ratings is seeking a talented Market Research Associate to join its Structured Finance Business Relationship Management team in London. The role involves supporting the growth and development of the SF and CVB portfolio through a two-pronged approach, leveraging relationships with senior decision makers in issuing entities and investment banks.
As a key member of the BRM team, you will be responsible for:
Market Research and Analysis: Contribute to the analysis of securitisation market data using systems such as LCD News, Creditsights, and Concept ABS. Monitor market activity and identify trends relevant to Fitch Ratings' commercial efforts.
Support the EMEA Structured Finance BRM Team: Assist in ad hoc requests from the European SF BRM team, including preparing engagement letters, organizing meetings, and updating the contacts database.
Regulatory: Ensure the SF BRM team meets regulatory requirements by running sanction searches and KYC checks on all engaged companies and updating the system with related counterparties to transactions.
Marketing: Act as a backup for sending monthly and intraday newsletters/emails to external contacts and track opens and click-through rates. Liaise with the Investor Development Team to support the execution of webinars, videos, or other marketing activities.
Preparation of Marketing Materials: Prepare pitch books, quarterly market share slides, and other marketing materials as required to support the SF BRM team's marketing efforts.
Financial Reporting and Budget Analysis: Act as a backup when required to manage the European Structured Finance pipeline and budget and produce monthly and annual management information and reporting for the EMEA region.
As a Market Research Associate, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in market analysis, business development, and relationship management. You will work closely with senior management and be part of an international corporation with high values and inclusion policies.
Key Requirements:
- Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of financial markets and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- Relevant work experience in market research, business development, or relationship management.
